This personalised typographic artwork consists of four prints, each one measuring 52cm x 52cm x 8cm. This is a bespoke typographic canvas print that Coulson Macleod created for a new beauty salon/clinic called Beauty Defined.

Your Coulson Macleod canvas typographic art print would be of museum quality. Each print is hand-mounted and finished with the finest materials by expert local craftsmen.

Your canvas-mounted print would be produced using the very latest giclée print technology. Heavyweight 450gsm, 100% cotton, Brilliance Chromata White premium fine art matte canvas is used to ensure colour reproduction and longevity are at their absolute maximum. This canvas is optical brightener agent free (optical brightener causes yellowing over time) and has passed the Blue Wool standards test for light fastness (up to 75 years) and is one of only a few canvases to achieve this.

Your canvas artwork is hand-sprayed with five coats of Glamour II Giclée Matt Varnish to ensure maximum protection and a smooth consistent finish. This is a non-yellowing, water-based varnish that enhances the colour of pigmented and ultrachrome inks on matte media and increases resistance to image fading. It also protects images against moisture and abrasion. The combination of Glamour II Matt Varnish with Brilliance Chromata White canvas delivers the most archival and colour-stable fine art reproduction available.

Well folks, we have beaten our sales record. We have sold more prints in August than in any other month in the entire history of Coulson Macleod. And we’ve been up and running for almost eighteen months.

We have a whiteboard on our office wall. Every time we make a sale we wipe off the old number and write up the new one. I say we, but actually I usually do this, partly because my handwriting is neater, but mainly because it gives me a huge amount of pleasure. Every month we write down how many we’ve sold, whether they’ve been sold via Not On The High Street or through shops or if they’re bespoke and how many came via one of our adverts in Elle Decoration or Livingetc.

We love our whiteboard. We quite often catch each other staring at it fondly. Because every month the figures go up. And that is super exciting.

And this month, only half way through August I might point out, we’ve notched up the biggest number since our records began. To let you into a secret, we only started recording this on the board since November, which was when we started selling in serious numbers and the idea of a whiteboard sprang into our heads.

So ladies and gentlemen, tonight we may clink our glasses and say a little toast to our little booming business that we love so much.

Caroline only uses sterling or hill tribe silver (which is actually purer). She combines silver with beads she sources from around the globe, including Swarovski crystal, Czech and Indian glass, and semi-precious stones.

Caroline also designs bespoke pieces too from her studio in Northamptonshire, and is currently working on a silver necklace with faceted emerald nuggets and tourmaline drops. Hopefully I’ll get a picture of the finished piece for you all to see.
